Laura Kirsche Hart
March 29, 1987 - July 13, 2021
Laura was a beloved Wethersfield wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher and friend. She was loved by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her resounding spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Regardless of what was bringing Laura down, she always had a smile for anyone she came into contact with. To say Laura was an angel on earth would be an understatement. Having her in our lives was a true blessing that will surround us with love forever.

Laura was a graduate of Wethersfield High School, where she was a star in track and basketball. She obtained bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Connecticut. She spent nearly a decade teaching in Glastonbury Public Schools, her final position as a fourth-grade teacher at Naubuc Elementary School.
Laura was a cancer survivor whose health remained a concern even after she seemingly overcame her battle. Laura was unexpectedly taken from us on July 13, 2021, after a very brief illness. Laura left behind her loving and devoted husband Patrick, and her three little angels Milly (4), Josie (2) and baby William (7 months).
Throughout her life, Laura was a teacher both in and out of the classroom. In her final lesson, she taught those closest to her the meaning of courage and grace. Laura and her family loved spending their time together at the playground at Mikey's Place in Standish Park in Old Wethersfield. The park holds a special place in their hearts as a place for the family to gather, socialize and rejuvenate. Laura had a wonderful way of turning everything into a celebration... together, lets celebrate the beauty of this community and its historic surroundings.
