To help fulfill our mission, Laura's Garden has donated over 40 butterfly growing kits to local elementary schools in May of 2022, 2023, and 2024. This project-based learning experience provided a wonderous opportunity for students as they explored metamorphosis, pollination, biodiversity and life cycles. Students in  kindergarten through sixth grade spread their own wings as they made observations and discoveries while practicing responsibility, caring for their butterflies. Weeks later, these students release over 200 Painted Lady Butterflies into the community. These pollinators immediately soar as their proud care-takers cheer!
